HERE’S HOW THE PROCESS USUALLY WORKS…
All great things start with a conversation. We’ll get to know each other to ensure we’re the perfect fit for your project, and clearly define the next best steps for your family.
This is where we’ll discuss all the project details together and hold a site inspection so we can start planning. Once you’ve given Sunday Homes the big tick of approval to kick off the project, we’ll get started!
Every good design starts with a collaborative approach and budget transparency. Our unique approach means that we work with our trusted trades throughout the initial planning to give you peace of mind and clear costs prior to commencement.
Our in-house interior designer will meld considered design with your vision. You will receive floor plans, elevations, lighting and electrical plans, as well as material samples boards to communicate the overall aesthetic and direction for the project. Once every selection has been made, we provide a fixtures and fittings schedule.
Once council approval is granted, Sunday Homes will engage the private certifier on your behalf. We will source quotes from all other consultants as required in order to obtain your construction certificate. Once this is all finalised, you're officially ready to start your build – let the magic begin!
The entire build will be managed by the team at Sunday Homes – from site inspections to liaising with the builder and suppliers, managing the detailed process. We’ll work on your behalf to ensure everything is completed on time to the best quality, and that the home built reflects the lifestyle of your dreams.

Project Management (Pre-Construction)
Includes:
- A detailed scope of works.
- Sourcing builder estimates (three quotes) that align with your project requirements.
- Liaising with the interior designer to provide key input in the pre-approval phase.
- Ensuring pre-start criteria is met by all relevant consultants and the project is approved to commence construction.
Interior Design
Includes:
- A thoughtfully defined design direction with mood boards and samples.
- Detailed joinery drawings.
- All fixtures and fittings selected to work cohesively with the design.
- A detailed handover pack prepared for the builder.
- A master specifications document created for procurement.
- Liaising during the construction process to answer design related questions.
- Joinery drawings reviewed and approved for construction.
Project Management (During Construction)
Includes:
- The procurement and installation management of all fixtures and fittings.
- Liaising with all suppliers as necessary.
- Regular meetings with the builder and site inspections to review progress.
- Liaising with the interior designer as necessary.
- Providing site meeting notes and action items to ensure the client is informed throughout the project.
